AMD took a record 86%
A month ago, AMD took another milestone in the sales statistics of a large German store Mindfactory. Then the company occupied 82% of sales, and it seemed that there was nowhere to grow.
However, December passed, and it became clear that there is quite something to eat. 86% – this is exactly the share of AMD in the last month of 2019! This means that Intel processors bought only 14% of users.
The most popular models are still the same: Ryzen 5 3600X, Ryzen 7 3700X, Ryzen 7 2700X and Ryzen 5 2600 for AMD and Core i7-9700K – for Intel. You can also see that sales of the top-end Ryzen 9 3950X have grown significantly.
If we talk about revenue, AMD also has a new record – 82%. The average selling price of AMD processors increased in annual terms by 13.7%, reaching 229.7 euros, while Intel’s value fell by 14.7%, to 312.4 euros.
